Kickoff meeting to assess the status of the existing surveillance system


  • Relevant historical information is gathered from the departments and organizations involved in the installation
  • Existing security requirements are defined and evaluated and staff expectations are set


Customized, onsite training of security and IT personnel

  • Includes the operation of the security system
  • Highlights best practices for converged physical security operations


Audit and documentation of current physical security system

  • Compilation of all relevant camera specifications and field of view pictures - Forensic image analysis included
  • Documentation of storage system and image processing/video management servers
  • Logical and physical network diagram including physical infrastructure status examination



Documented recommendations for moves, adds & changes to the physical surveillance hardware and software configurations and operational processes

  • Demonstrated mathematical analysis of storage requirements
  • Optimal camera placements, lens changes, focus adjustments. Video stream resolution, frame rate and codec optimization
  • Video management system configurations including: recording schedules, event and
  • alarm management, user management, and archiving
  • Provision of redundancy and reliability for both network traffic and storage volumes
  • Integration of any third party technologies or systems required or deemed necessary to fit requirements and expectations


Documentation of operational processes for daily maintenance by support staff

Documentation of troubleshooting processes for technical staff
